Good morning and welcome to Day 4 of the Clean It Up Challenge!

You’re doing an incredible job cleaning up what you put IN and ON your body and what you live with in your home. Today, we’re focusing on another crucial aspect of your overall health and well-being: what you FEED YOUR MIND.


Today’s Focus: Cleaning up what you feed your mind.

Your mental diet is just as important as your physical diet. What you consume mentally can significantly impact your mood, stress levels, and overall mental health. Let’s explore how to create a more positive, nourishing mental environment.


Why Mental Clean-Up Matters?

The thoughts you think and the content you consume shape your mental landscape. Constant exposure to negative news, toxic social media, or stress-inducing content can lead to anxiety, depression, and a host of other mental health issues. By consciously choosing what you feed your mind, you can create a more positive, empowering mindset.


Your Guide to Day 4:

  1. Clean It Up Challenge Guide: Ensure you have your copy of the guide, which covers today’s focus in detail. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, just stop by the front desk to get your copy.

  2. Mental Diet Check: Assess your current mental diet, including what you read, watch, and listen to daily.

  3. Positive Alternatives: Identify and incorporate more positive, uplifting content into your daily routine.


Day 4 Action Items:

  1. Read the Guide: Start by reading the section labeled “Day Four: What You Feed Your Mind” in your Clean It Up Challenge Guide.

  2. Media Audit: Take stock of your media consumption. Note how much time you spend on social media, watching TV, reading news, and other activities. Evaluate the impact these activities have on your mood and mindset.
