Angela Skvor- Club Manager  Angela is from Cedar Rapids and has two younger brothers.  She is currently studying business management.  She enjoys working out, traveling, boating and spending time with family and friends.  She competes in bodybuilding/figure competitions and continues her studies in the fitness industry.   Alyssa Beard  Alyssa grew up in Iowa City , Iowa . She is currently pursuing her degree in Marketing Management at Kirkwood , and would one day like to own her own wellness/fitness center in California .  She also would like to do a triathlon and become a certified personal trainer.  When she isn’t working Alyssa enjoys working out, shopping, hiking and spending time with friends and family. * Teaches aqua aerobics   Betty Thompson Betty enjoys planting flowers, working in the yard and on her flowers. She also enjoys doing different types of puzzles. After Betty retires, she would like to travel. Betty has been married for eighteen years. She also enjoys spending time with her mother, who lives in the same house that Betty, her 3 brothers and 4 sisters were raised in. *Certified in First Aid and CPR- Adult *Teaches senior circuit   Holly Wellman - Club Staff and Personal Trainer Holly is originally from Colby , WI and has been in Cedar Rapids for 5 years.  She has a master’s degree in exercise science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  She has been doing personal training in a variety of settings for over 6 years.  She enjoys playing and coaching volleyball, biking and lifting weights. *personal training and fitness assessments   Kyle Wilkins - Kyle is studying Coaching and Athletic Training. He is certified in CPR and first aid.  In his free time, he enjoys playing Hooverball, football, and rugby. In the future, Kyle hopes to build his own home and travel to Iceland. Emma Hilsenbeck - Emma graduated early from Linn Mar High School. She currently plays on a club volleyball team. In her free time, she likes to hang out with friends, shop online, read and go running. She plans to attend UNI in the fall and major in Health Sciences. Allison Adams - Sales Associate Allison is a nursing student at Mt. Mercy University.  She is originally from Breda, Iowa and has 5 brothers and 2 sisters.  Her dream is to become a traveling nurse and eventually further her schooling to become a nurse anesthetist.  In her spare time she enjoys working out, biking, playing volleyball and being with friends and family.   Laura Bartelme - Sales Associate, Aerobics Instructor/CPR Certified/LMT Laura has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 16 yrs and has a Massage Therapy Studio at Gold Pointe Fitness. She also works for UPS as a preloader and driver. Laura has 5 children, ages 8-22 yrs old. In her spare time she enjoys working out, coaching little league, swimming, volleyball, boating, volunteering for her daughters school and Toys for Tots and spending time with friends and family.   Travis Butler - Sales Associate Travis currently works at Verizon Business as well as part-time at Gold Pointe.  He played golf for Southeastern Community College before transferring to Iowa.  Travis is a huge Hawkeye football and wrestling fan (basketball fever is slowly coming back with the new coach).  He enjoys volleyball, golf, running, swimming, music, reading, anything outdoors, traveling, wine and hanging out with friends and family.  Travis also loves animals and has several of his own, but wishes he could afford a large aquarium for a family of penguins. Mark Atwater - Sales Associate, CPR Mark currently attends Linn-Mar High School in Marion. He will be a senior this year. He plays football as well as wrestles. He plays quarterback and linebacker for the Lions and wrestled 189 lbs. Mark enjoys reading and anything involving sports or fitness. Next year he plans to play football in college, but is undecided about where. Mark lives with his parents and one brother who attends Coe College. Tiffany Laborde -Sales Associate Tiffany works at Transamerica (AEGON) and part time at Gold Pointe.  She is a big Hawkeye football fan and loves to cheer on the JETS NFL team.  Tiffany enjoys doing anything outdoors, cooking, drinking wine, hanging out with friends and family, traveling, reading, scrap booking and playing most sports.
